Dear Kind Hearts!
When I visited an Old Age Home in Riyadh, last Saturday, I was told that a man seems to be an Indian is there for last eight years and his identity is unknown. When I saw the man I was shocked. Yes. For last eight years! He should be in his mid forties, now. My imagination went wild for a moment. I could understand by his look that he is an Indian and, that too, he should be from southern part of India. When I enquired the authorities they were very helpful in providing
available details about him:
· He was a victim of HIT AND RUN on Dirab Road on (24.03.1421H) today is 9/2/1429H , means in 1999 and lost his consciousness.
· He was admitted to Shumaisi Hospital.
· Since he had no Iqama(Residential permit) or any other things that could prove his identity, he was transferred to prison after treatment.
· Even in prison, neither his sponsor nor any of his colleagues had come to see him. · So he was transferred to old age home.
· The authorities at the Old Age Home had taken umpteen efforts and forwarded his case to different Embassies, too. But all in vain.
Now he is healthy. He can see, walk, eat but he cannot speak. His memory power is lost. He responds to few verbal commands. His appearance, vaccination mark on his hand and his name (Philisbar Mohen : This was how he was being called when he was in hospital. This is mentioned in Arabic in his case file) all these gave me a strong impression that HE IS AN INDIAN. I have posted his recent photo image and two file photos for your reference.
I am posting this message with lot of hopes and prayers that some one of you might know him or might help him by spreading this message.
Dear kind hearts! Welfare and charity clubs! Any one of you could light his life. Imagine a family without it's head, a mother lost his son and a wife delinked from her mate! Media is a great gift of God. Just a click! That could change his life! That could bring smile on so many faces! Imagine, you were the link for the happiness of the family when their lost son- husband- above all a father is reunited!
